The GSW - Group The GSW Schwabe AG - Manufacturer of high-quality Coil Feed Lines and Coil Handling Equipment - was founded in 1963. Within more than 40 years of consequently driving technical development and market-oriented benchmarking decisions, the GSW Group matured as a recognized and renown entity in the metalworking industry. Today, GSW manufactures and assembles in their Germany based facilities Kempen (west), Brachttal (central) and Dresden (eastern). The US subsidiary, GSW Press Automation, Inc., situated in North Vernon, Indiana, manages the sales for the US, Canada and Mexico. The Head-Quarters at Kempen, Western Part of Germany As of January 01, 2006 the GSW-Group completed the relocation of their Head-Quarters at Witten (with Management, Sales & Administration), to the Manufacturing Facilities at Kempen and thus created a more efficient, consolidated location. At the Kempen facilities, all GSW Machinery as well as the LEINHAAS Presses are being designed, produced, serviced and distributed. Press-Service Location at Brachttal, Central Germany The LEINHAAS-HMS GmbH is an affiliation of the former indipendent companies LEINHAAS and HMS-Automation, which has been integrated into the GSW-Group in 1998. Main focus here is the servicing of all existing LEINHAAS Presses and HMS Feed Lines which have been successfully placed into the European Market over the past three decades. Tool & Die Shop at Dresden, Eastern Part of Germany The GSW Automation GmbH tops off the Group´s professional competence for the area of tool- and die manufacturing. In-house engineering and design allow production of high-accuracy compound- and progressive dies. US-Facilities at North Vernon, Indiana Staying close to our customers in the US, Canada and Mexico, is being ensured by the GSW Press Automation, Inc., situated at North Vernon in South-Eastern Indiana. For any machine or line sold, GSW Germany supplies only the mechanical part. Motors and electrical controls are added locally, and the machinery is put into service by our local Engineers. Electrical and mechanical service is being provided for the entire region. |
